The following prerequisites must be met for the insurance to provide cover:

• At least 60% of the price of the insured item was paid with a credit card / prepaid card from Viseca.
• The insured item is intended for private purposes.
• Both the purchased item and its cheaper equivalent originate from a merchant based in Switzerland (e.g. retail store, mail-order business, online supplier).
• The identical, cheaper equivalent can be proven to have been discovered within 14 days of the purchase.
• The price difference is at least CHF 30.

The following maximum insured sums apply per event:

• CHF 1 000: Prepaid Mastercard and Prepaid Visa
• CHF 2 000: World Mastercard Silver/Gold, Visa Classic/Gold, Visa GKB HCD Card and Flying Blue World Mastercard.
• CHF 4 000: Visa Platinum

The Best Price Guarantee applies to all insured items purchased from a dealer (e.g. retail store, mail order company, Internet provider) based in Switzerland. Please note that websites with domain ".ch" do not necessarily have to belong to a company based in Switzerland. The imprint of the website will give you information about the registered office of the provider.

The insurance covers the price difference between the price actually paid and the demonstrably lower price offer if the latter was found within 14 days of the date of purchase. The purchase date is the transaction date on the prepaid/credit card.

• Items that are only offered to a restricted group of buyers (e.g. student or employee shops).

• Motor vehicles.

To claim the difference in price, check whether the equivalent item really is identical, offering the same scope of performance (terms of delivery, assembly, duration of warranty, size, colour, etc.) and originating from a vendor based in Switzerland. Obtain the necessary confirmations and evidence, and send us the complete claim documentation.

No. To benefit from insurance cover, you must use a valid Viseca credit card or, as a mandatory requirement, the credit function of a valid combined payment card to pay for at least 60% of the travel costs, item, device or ticket.
