Delayed luggage insurance

Have your suitcases not arrived with your flight? You can breath a sigh of relief. Because if you’re travelling by public transport and your luggage doesn’t appear within four hours of arriving at your destination, the costs of buying basic essentials will be covered.

The insurance covers up to five people (cardholder, employees and non-employees) per card on a business trip, at least 50% of which is being paid for using one or more insured card(s) in total.

The following conditions must be met in order for insurance cover to be provided:

• The luggage does not arrive within four hours of the insured person’s arrival at the destination (excluding their place of residence).
• The delay occurred during transport by a means of public transport.
• The duration of the business trip is no longer than 120 days.
• At least 50% of the travel costs were paid for using a Viseca Commercial Gold credit card.

The following maximum insured amounts apply per event and per person:

• CHF 5,000: Mastercard Commercial Card Gold

No excess applies.

The insurance policy is included in the annual fee for your Viseca Commercial credit card and does not incur any additional fees.
