Coverage for damage to a hire car

What if you’ve hired a car and now it has sustained material damage? Fully comprehensive hire car insurance covers costs caused by damage to rented cars and in the event of theft.

The insurance covers hired passenger cars for the transport of up to nine people.

The following prerequisites must be met for the insurance to provide cover:

• The insured person must be named in the rental agreement as a registered driver and must be at least 21 years of age.
• The rental period is no longer than 60 days.
• At least 60% of the costs for the rental vehicle were paid for with a Viseca credit card

The insurance is included in the annual fee for your Viseca card and does not cause any additional costs.
