Purchase protection insurance

The richly decorated ornamental bowl from the world-famous Meissen porcelain factory is the perfect Christmas present for your parents. If only it weren't so bitterly cold! As you are leaving the shop, you slip on a frozen puddle and lose your balance. The fall leaves you unscathed, but the bowl shatters into a thousand pieces. Happily, you have Viseca purchase protection insurance, which protects your purchases for up to 30 days after the purchase date.

Items you buy with your credit card are covered against robbery, theft, destruction and damage for up to 30 days after purchase.

The cardholder benefits from insurance cover (main, second, additional and partner cards).

The following maximum insured amounts apply to World Mastercard Flex Gold (credit option), World Mastercard Gold, Visa Gold and Flying Blue World Mastercard:

  • CHF 1,000 per claim and CHF 5,000 per year

There is no excess.

To take advantage of the insurance cover, the following conditions must be met:

  • An insured event occurs
  • The purchase was paid for entirely with a valid World Mastercard Gold, Visa Gold or Flying Blue World Mastercard
  • The item costs at least CHF 50
