Trip interruption insurance

What if something happens during your business trip that means it has to be interrupted, cut short or extended? Trip interruption insurance gives you cover in case of unforeseen events during a business trip, such as illness, accidents or death (including of related persons). The insurance reimburses you for the costs of the unused part of your business trip as well as the additional costs of the return journey and accommodation.

The insurance covers up to five people (cardholder, employees and non-employees) per card on a business trip, at least 50% of which is being paid for using one or more insured card(s) in total.

The following conditions must be met in order for insurance cover to be provided:

• The trip is interrupted, extended or cut short due to an insured event.
• The duration of the business trip is no longer than 120 days.
• At least 50% of the travel costs were paid for using a Viseca Commercial Gold credit card.

The following maximum insured amount applies per event and per person:

• CHF 10,000: Mastercard Commercial Card Gold

No excess applies.
