Data Protection/Data Security

Data protection is very important for Viseca. Personal data are treated with absolute confidentiality. In this context, Viseca expressly refers to the Viseca General Data Protection Policy, the Data protection policy VisecaOne, surprize data protection policy information in the Terms and Conditions of Use of VisecaOne, the Conditions for the Use of Viseca Credit and PrePaid Cards, the Conditions for the Use of Viseca Business and Corporate Cards, to the surprize Terms and Conditions and to the different conditions applicable in the context of the use of other Services.
Please note that data that are transmitted over an open network such as the Internet or an e-mail service are generally accessible. Viseca cannot guarantee the confidentiality of messages or documents transmitted over such open networks. If you disclose personal data over an open network, you should be aware that third parties might access this information and could thus collect and use them without your consent. Under certain circumstances, third parties may therefore draw conclusions about your existing or future contractual relationships with Viseca or Viseca’s mediating partners. Even if the sender and the recipient reside in the same country, the data transmission over such networks often takes place via other countries that might not provide the same data protection level as your country of domicile.
To ensure data protection on the Internet as effectively as possible, the entire transmission of all confidential/personal data between your browser and the Web server of Viseca is encrypted (currently TLS with 2048-bit encryption, the global WWW [security] standard for browsers). For the use of services in the Viseca user account cardholders need to register.
Moreover, it is expressly pointed out that there is a risk of viruses and systematic hacker attacks. To combat viruses, it is advisable to use only the latest browser versions, to continually install updated virus software and not to open any e-mails whose origin is unknown or unsolicited e-mail attachments.

Logging of user behaviour by Viseca

When you visit the Viseca website, Viseca automatically collects IP address and usage data. This information is used to establish user behaviour (number of clicks, pages visited, links used, etc.) of visitors to the Viseca website, and the duration of the visit.
Whenever emails are sent by Viseca (e.g. newsletters or email campaigns) information will be recorded concerning the receipt of emails and user actions (e.g. opening of emails and clicking on links). This information is collected in order to monitor and improve communication by email.

The Viseca website uses cookies to estimate aggregated visitor numbers and aggregated data exchange volume, to ascertain which pages of the Viseca website attract visitors’ interest, to generally improve the Viseca website and to compile or improve customer profiles. A cookie is an information file which, by being saved to your hard drive, allows your computer to be recognised during future visits to the Viseca website.
Viseca would like to draw your attention to the fact that if configured accordingly, your browser will inform you of a cookie being received. You may deactivate the use of cookies in your browser settings. Please note that in this case your use of the Viseca may be restricted.

Google tools and services

On its website Viseca uses Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Remarketing and Google Tagmanager ("Google tools"). These tools record the user behaviour of visitors of the website and allow the offering of tailor-made advertising. These Google tools use "cookie technology" that records the behaviour of visitors of the website and transmits this data to Google in order to be evaluated. Viseca has mandated Google to shorten the IP address by removing the last four digits. The Google tools indicated are used exclusively in the public areas of the Viseca website. The website's internal area (which may be reached by logging in through VisecaOne) is not analysed with the assistance of these Google tools.
You can prevent cookies being saved for Google tools on the website by making the appropriate setting in your browser software or by clicking on the following Link (by clicking on the link you will not receive any feedback). In this case an "opt-out cookie" will be set which prevents your data from being recorded on future visits to our website. You may also deactivate Google tools by downloading and installing an add-on, which can be obtained at the following link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.
However, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website. By using this website, you agree to Google processing the data collected about you in the way described above and for the above-mentioned purpose.
Further information on the functioning and use of the individual Google tools on the Viseca website are found in the detailed description below.
The Viseca website uses Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Remarketing and Google Tagmanager. These are web analysis services of Google Inc. (referred to below as "Google").
Google Analytics uses "cookies", information files that are saved on your computer and make it possible to analyse your use of the website. The user's behaviour on the website is tracked and evaluated with the support of these cookies. The clicking on a link or opening of a page will then be recorded.
In the case of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking a cookie is activated after you have clicked on an AdWords advertisement in order to verify its effectiveness. The Google Remarketing function uses cookies to collect the surfing behaviour of visitors to the website for marketing purposes and to adapt advertising by Viseca to your interests. Such advertising may also appear on other websites (such as on the Google search page). Advertisements will appear on the basis of previous visits to the website using the data collected by the cookies.
Google Tag Manager is a Google product which allows us to manage website tags via an interface. The tag manager is a domain without cookies and does not record any personal data. The tool triggers other tags which, in certain circumstances, will record data (such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords). A deactivation of tracking on domain or cookie level will remain valid for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager.
The information concerning your use of the website generated and stored by the cookie and collected by the Google tools is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and evaluated there. Google makes these evaluations available to Viseca. Google may send this information also to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on Google's behalf. Google Analytics also transmits the IP address to Google; Viseca has asked Google to shorten this IP address by removing the last four digits so that it is impossible to allocate this address to a certain user. In the code Google Analytics is given the extension "gat._anonymizelp();" in order to ensure that the IP address is recorded in anonymised form.
Further information about Google products and its privacy policies can be found under the following link https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Facebook pixel
We use the Facebook pixel of Facebook Inc. (“Facebook”) on our website www.viseca.ch. As a result, we can measure the success of our offers and campaigns and furthermore determine how many visitors to our website have reached our website through one of our ads on Facebook, and thereby track effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way are anonymous for us, meaning that we do not see any personal data of individual users. Facebook can, however, link these data with your Facebook account and also use them for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Policy. Tracking by Hotjar
On this website we use Hotjar of the company Hotjar Limited (Level 2, St Julian’s Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian’s STJ 1000, Malta) to perform statistical analysis on visitor data. Hotjar is a service that analyses the conduct and feedback of website users through a combination of analysis and feedback tools. Hotjar-based websites have a tracking code integrated into the website. This tracking code contacts the Hotjar server and sends a script to the computer or end device used to access the Hotjar-based website. The script collects certain data relating to the user's interaction with the corresponding website. These data are then sent to the Hotjar server for processing. Further details concerning the Privacy Policy as well as the data that are collected by Hotjar and how this occurs can be found at https://www.hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy.

Deactivating Hotjar:
If you do not wish Hotjar to collect your data, you can activate the Hotjar opt-out at https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out and deactivate or re-activate the collection of data by Hotjar. Note: Deleting cookies, using the incognito/private mode in your browser or using a different browser will result in data again being collected.

Session and interaction data
Furthermore, the m-pathy (www.m-pathy.com) technology from seto GmbH is used to collect and store session and interaction data for website users. This is to find out how people use the individual pages, how they arrive there, and what they do there. This information is used to improve the content and user-friendliness of the pages and thus to optimize your visit. Please note that cookies may be used for this purpose, but that the session and interaction data is always anonymized before processing. You can opt out of the future collection and storage of data at any time. Your revocation will be stored as a non-personalized cookie.

Social media buttons

The Viseca website incorporates functions (plugins) of third party providers or social media platforms (facebook, twitter, google+; hereafter "social networks or third party providers"). These plugins enable you to share content within the social networks mentioned above. Whenever the Viseca website is accessed the buttons are initially deactivated as the default position. This means that, unless you specify otherwise, no data will be transferred to the relevant third party providers. After the buttons have been activated, the plugins will automatically transfer data to the third party providers concerned. If you have already logged into the network of the relevant third party provider when visiting the website, the visit to the Viseca website can be registered against your network account. Viseca does not have any influence on this type of data transfer to social networks. Please refer to the privacy statement of the relevant social network in order to ascertain the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and usage of data by the relevant social networks along with the related rights and settings that can be used in order to protect your privacy.
