Click to Pay is a checkout solution for online commerce, which is based on a common industry standard. It offers an easy way to pay online with a payment card (credit, debit, prepaid), regardless of whether it is a Visa or Mastercard card.
The easiest way to register for Click to Pay is via the ‘one’ app. With just a few clicks, you can store your card there in a Click to Pay profile without having to enter your card details or address manually. If you do not have a profile yet, one will be created automatically. Alternatively, you can register manually via the respective Mastercard or Visa portal.
If you want to amend your contact details for Click to Pay, remove a card or delete your data, you can do so at any time via the respective Visa or Mastercard portal. Like at the checkout, you log in by entering your e-mail address and the one-time code sent to you. For security reasons, the card security code (to be found in the ‘one’ app or on the card) may also be requested for certain operations.
You can pay with Click to Pay at all participating merchants. Just look for the universal Click to Pay symbol. It can often be found by choosing card as payment method.
Once you have registered your card successfully, the payment process with Click to Pay is very intuitive. When you pay on a new device for the first time, you will have to log into your profile for security reasons. To do this, enter your e-mail address and you will receive a one-time code sent to your e-mail address and/or your phone, which you can enter on the website. If you pay repeatedly on a device that only you can access, you can select the option to stay logged in. Once you have logged in, the payment process is intuitive and involves only a few steps.
Note: Never pass on one-time codes that have been sent to you, and only stay logged in on devices that only you have access to (protection with PIN, fingerprint or face recognition).
If you have selected the option to stay logged in during the login process, you will not have to enter your e-mail address and one-time code for any further payment transactions on a particular device. Participating merchants will automatically recognise the logged-in profile and immediately display the payment cards available for selection. All it will take to pay after that is one more click.
Note: You may need to log into your Click to Pay profile again from time to time, if you use another browser, after updates or for other reasons.
All personal private and business customer cards from Viseca can be used with Click to Pay. For security reasons, the card must be registered for the ‘one’ digital service before it can be stored.
