Our 24-hour emergency travel assistance service organises the help you need worldwide any time of day or night. The travel assistance service assumes the costs of your return trip and search and rescue costs. Plus, if you should be hospitalised for a long period, the service will also organise round-trip travel for someone close to you to serve as a support person.

Serious illness, accident or death of the insured person – as a supplement to the benefits covered by trip interruption insurance.

This insurance covers up to five people (cardholders, employees and non-employees) per business trip when at least 50% of the overall costs are paid with one or more insured card(s).

The following maximum insured sums apply:

Return travel, return transportation and repatriation costs
Unlimited: Mastercard® Business Card Silver/Gold and Mastercard® Corporate Card Silver/Gold

Medical costs incurred abroad
 Up to CHF 250'000 per incident and person: Mastercard® Business Card Silver, Mastercard® Corporate Card Silver
 Up to CHF 500'000 per incident and person: Mastercard® Business Card Gold, Mastercard® Corporate Card Gold

Costs for follow-up medical treatment in the country where you are domiciled
  Up to CHF 50'000 per incident and person: Mastercard® Business Card Silver/Gold and Mastercard® Corporate Card Silver/Gold

Search, rescue and recovery costs
  Up to CHF 60'000 per incident and person: Mastercard® Business Card Silver/Gold and Mastercard® Corporate Card Silver/Gold

The cover is provided subsidiary and supplemental to Swiss statutory social insurance (accident insurance, health insurance etc.) and other supplementary insurance, insofar as they do not cover the full costs of emergency hospital care or emergency outpatient treatment.

No excess is payable.

The following requirements must be met to qualify for insurance cover:
  • A medical emergency occurs during the trip.
  • The trip is a business trip lasting no more than 120 days.
  • The insurer is contacted immediately and consents to the measures taken.
