Vehicle assistance

Perfectly timed to coincide with hydrangeas flowering, you decide to spend a long weekend in Brittany. When your car breaks down, you are still some 150 kilometres away from your booked accommodation. You contact the insurer, and a breakdown vehicle soon reaches you. Your car is towed away to a nearby garage to be repaired. The towing costs are covered by the insurance. With a delay of just a few hours, you still arrive at your desired destination.

What if you are driving abroad in your private vehicle and you break down or even have an accident? With vehicle assistance, Platinum cardholders can receive breakdown assistance on the spot and a contribution towards various costs for vehicle recovery, overnight accommodation or return travel.

The insurance covers the cardholder (primary, second, additional and partner cards), their spouse or partner living in the same household and children under the age of 25 who are entitled to support, provided they live in the same household or are resident in Switzerland.

The insurance covers private motor vehicles (passenger cars or motorhomes) with a total weight of up to 3 500 kg and motorcycles.
The following prerequisites must be met for the insurance to provide cover:
  • The insured person is the driver of the private motor vehicle used.

The insurance is included in the annual fee for your Viseca card and does not cause any additional costs.
