Ticket insurance

Every year, you and your husband sit in front of the TV to watch the grand opening of the Vienna Opera Ball. So, you surprise him at Christmas with tickets to the ball. A few days before you’re due to depart, you fall and break your leg. Since you paid for the tickets with your credit card, the insurer reimburses you the price of both tickets. And all is not lost – there’s always next season!

Have you been looking forward to an event, which you’re now unexpectedly unable to attend? With ticket insurance, you are insured against unforeseen occurrences such as illness or accident. If you are unable to attend the event, the ticket price paid will be refunded to you.

The insurance covers all event tickets and admission tickets.
The insurance is included with the following Viseca credit cards:
  • Visa Platinum
The following prerequisites must be met for the insurance to provide cover:
  • At least 60% of the price of the insured ticket was paid for with a Viseca credit card and the ticket was purchased for private purposes.
  • The booked event cannot be attended due to an insured event.
The following maximum insured sum applies per event:
- CHF 2 000: Visa Platinum.

There is no policy excess.
